To Much Make Up Not Enough GOD

So after much prayer and time with the LORD this certain tittle has been on my heart to write about. I’m so excited to dive into this I know GOD has so amazing things in this blog/note message whatever you would like to call it. I personally feel that this is going to be a very challenging message before I even start with the message I would ask that you stop and pray and ask GOD to open you heart to receive this message and that the LORD will take you out of any comfort zones you might have.

Let’s begin, First I want to start off with this ladies how much time do you spend putting on your make up or getting ready for different things such as work and even going on a date? Guys how much time does it take you to get ready for a date or work? The reason I ask this question is this most of the time we spend more time trying to look good and less time seeking GOD. Is there something wrong with that picture I think so. I want to take a look at Psalms 139:14 which says:> I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

So What does that verse mean? This is what it means in modern English, No matter what we look like such as how we do are hair or how much or how little make up we put on or men how are facial hair looks. I would say you need to really start to look at how GOD sees you I challenge you to memorize the verse above. That brings me to my next point and challenge is this as much time as you are spending getting ready in the morning or something I challenge you to start spending that same amount of time with GOD. We must be truly seeking the face of GOD daily not just when we have time because the truth of the matter you can fill your day with things to do and not make the time for the one who created you. Remember the time on this earth is very short compared to eternity. So do you really want the LORD to ask you why you spent more time getting ready and doing your make up or hair and not even giving HIM the time or day. I would not want the LORD to judge me on that. That would just flat out stink. Lastly I want to leave you with this challenge which is the most important one i’m going to leave you with period. As I said we are judged for everything we do. let’s look at Revelations 20:11-15 and after we look at these verses I will give you my final challenge for this message. Revelations 20:11-15 which says:> Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books where opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead where judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that where in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that where in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades where thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

The final challenge is this. Could you say that you are truly SAVED and that when you die that you will go to heaven? If you call yourself a Christian or even deeper a follower of Christ and you can’t answer that question I challenge you to ask yourself why not? To be SAVED is to know GOD and have a relationship with HIM, for some reason that was on my heart to include this last part. And this goes for everybody let’s stop playing church and let’s start being the true church and reaching out. You guys know that a church is not a building but the body of Christ. The reason we have church is for accountability and to be challenged and to fellowship and be encouraged by one another. I’m almost done all i ask is just stay with me for a few more minutes. I want to pose to you a couple of last questions. First question what is more important to you how people see you or what GOD thinks of you?

Second How much time are you spending with GOD daily?

Third If you where to die today could you say you would go to heaven?

John 3:16 which says:> For GOD so loved the world that he gave HIS one and only son, that whoever believes in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life.
