Greetings from California. We are currently enjoying a day off in San Francisco before heading south and east. We wanted to send out a quick update because some very exciting things have evolved. We have added dates in Colorado Springs, Denver, Omaha,  Lawrence (KS), Huntsville (AL), Rochester (NY), Athens (GA), as well as a Chicago date with Five Iron Frenzy. We are beyond excited.
Keep in mind this will be the last national Destroy Nate Allen tour before we take a sabbatical from the road. I’ve updated our tour dates below.
Some dates were shifted so that we could play the big show with FIF, The Insyderz and Flatfoot 56 in Chicago on Nov 17th.
If you haven’t had a chance to hear our new record With Our Powers Combined you can download it for any price @ www.destroynateallen.bandcamp.com. If you would prefer a full color digipak cd (complete with lyrics and chords), you can can pick it up over at www.destroynateallen.com/webstore.
Back in June we recorded a few songs live (with full band) at the KPSU radio station in Portland. Turns out our episode is the most popular download in their archive  We’re blown away. Here is the link to download that episode for free: http://kpsu.org/download?id=11297
We can’t wait to see everyone again. If you know someone in any of these town please encourage them to come to a show. Thanks for reading and for being awesome!

HM covers from over the years

HM Magazine Turns 35

In 1985, Doug Van Pelt photocopied a letter-sized sheets of paper, bound them together, and handed them out in person on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. It's all digital now, but, along the way, Van Pelt stirred up quite a few waves, played some seriously heavy music, and made a few friends along the way. Here: A quick look back at the magazine's 35-year history with Van Pelt and new owner, David Stagg.

Comrades 2020

Becoming Comrades

The trio of Comrades – husband and wife Joe and Laura McElroy alongside drummer John Gaskil – is used to living in a van and touring the country. Now, their new normal has provided them with a moment to "be adults" for once. We recently sat down with the McElroys to talk more about the spiritual reality within life, how soon they'll be able to release new music, and how koalas are their new normal.

Payable on Death – P.O.D.

A Voice of Life

Almost 27 years after the band's first studio album, P.O.D.'s message is arguably more important than ever. "I believe (our message) is even more relevant now than it was then. If you really listen to 'Youth of the Nation,' we still have these tragedies going on. There’s a lot of searching still going on out there."
