TraMaí Entertainment is hosting the 3rd Annual California Music Industry Summit (CMIS) at The Hilton Hotel in Downtown Oakland on June 8 –9th, 2012. CMIS is a national and international conference that is “The Ultimate Platform for all Genres of Music!”. Taking place over two days and nights, the conference features new music (No Cover), thought-provoking panels, informative workshops, one-on-one mentoring, intensive demo listening sessions, vocal critiques, music video previews, and more. In its third year, the event is looking to attract more music professionals, artists and music for the year 2012. California Music Industry Summit will have bands performing from worldwide. Performances will be held daily and nightly in some of Oakland’s greatest music venues. Last year, the summit saw over 300 attendees!

The keynote speaker at this year’s summit is Oakland, CA mayor Jean Quan. “Oakland’s rich musical heritage and hot arts and culture scene are a perfect fit for this statewide conference,” states Oakland Mayor Jean Quan. “We look forward to hosting conference attendees and working with CMIS to nurture music industry leaders of the future.”
