The Poet’s Eye video blog #2: On New Year’s Day 2011 Poet Billy Lamont visits the Dakotas and Strawberry Fields in New York City and recites a new poem “Imagine A Day” for the late John Lennon, with the 30th anniversary of Lennon’s passing on in his thoughts. Lamont dedicates the poem to Lennon’s surviving family and The Beatles and their families. This poem was written in September for Lamont’s son Zion and his 5th grade class. Lamont had a flu as he recited but wanted to send his wishes for peace, love and health to you for 2011!
