Being as an Ocean will release their third studio album, a self-titled effort, on June 30 through InVogue Records. Produced by Matthew McClellan at Glow in the Dark Studios and mastered by Kris Crummett, the album is set to be one of the biggest of the year for the label.

Lead vocalist Joel Quartuccio comments on the album:

Little Richie is a song that was inspired by the story of my personal friend and pastor, Rich McCullen. Rich grew up in an extremely abusive household, and, yet, still grew up to forgive his abuser and strives to live a life of love and compassion.

Fans can preorder their CD/vinyl copies by visiting Being As An Ocean’s merchandise website. iTunes preorders will begin next Tuesday, May 19th.

The band will be performing at the Vans Warped Tour this summer.
