We are very excited to announce the signing of Strike First’s ALTARS to Facedown Records, and to show you their brand new lyric video for “Scum”, the first single from their upcoming Facedown debut

Conclusions will be released on June 5 and pre-orders will launch next week.

Altars formed in early 2010 with the drive to present forceful passionate, heavy hardcore/metal. After releasing their debut EP “Opposition” in July 2011 on Strike First Records, they are back with 12 tracks that make up one of the finest heavy albums of 2012 in “Conclusions”. Altars have matured by leaps and bounds and posses a dynamic range within their songs that many veteran bands are not even capable of reaching. The creative songwriting and top notch production on “Conclusions” are sure to help make a mark for Altars in the heavy music scene in 2012 and beyond.

Comrades 2020

Becoming Comrades

The trio of Comrades – husband and wife Joe and Laura McElroy alongside drummer John Gaskil – is used to living in a van and touring the country. Now, their new normal has provided them with a moment to "be adults" for once. We recently sat down with the McElroys to talk more about the spiritual reality within life, how soon they'll be able to release new music, and how koalas are their new normal.

Between the White Noise

My Epic's last full-length album came out in 2013; despite a number of EPs along the way, the band's dedication to their craft, lyrical approach, and unyielding approach to let the music come naturally has made them critical darlings. Now, they're learning to interact and feed a rabid fanbase in between albums and in a new normal.
