AFFIANCE

Stream New Single “The Final Countdown

Tour with Modern Day Escape & Deception Of A Ghost starts Friday

New Album “The Campaign” to drop November 13!

Affiance are excited to launch the worldwide stream of their new song “The Final Countdown“!  Fans have seen the band play the song live and have been BEGGING them to record it, so they did, and here it is.   “We wanted to do a song that everyone would know no matter what their age or favorite music.  We also wanted to do a song that most other bands in our genre couldn’t pull off, allowing us to show off our abilities. If we do any more covers, they will most definitely be songs that showcase vocal talent and sweet solos like this one. Yeah it’s cheesy, but that’s what makes it fun!” – Dennis Tvrdik (Vocals)

Hot off the heels of their newest single “You WIll Be Replaced“, the band is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated full length album “The Campaign” due out on Bullet Tooth on November 13, 2012. The album was produced by Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio who has recently finished records for August Burns RedTexas In July, and more!  The new song is an absolute behemoth (and hit #6 on the iTunes Metal Chart!) and will no doubt hold fans over until their sophomore album “The Campaign” is released.  The new song “You WIll Be Replaced” can be downloaded at iTunesAmazonLastFMeMusic and Rhapsody, and streamed at Spotify!

Singer Dennis Tvrdik commented on the upcoming album, “The Campaign is multiple levels above No Secret Revealed in every area. The vocals, the drums, the guitars, the recording quality, the song structure, the variety… We couldn’t be happier or more confident with a sophomore album. It almost feels like we skipped a release between the two albums! There is not a doubt in my mind that this will be a game changer for us and will open many doors to opportunities otherwise closed off from us.”

Affiance (Bullet Tooth) and Modern Day Escape (Standby Records) will co-headline a US tour starting this Friday with special guests Deception Of A Ghost (Bullet Tooth) and Picture Me Broken (Standby Records). The tour is sponsored by KillerTours, Bullet Tooth, Standby, Artery, AMP, Hails & Horns, Mesa, ESP and Powell Drums. See all dates below.

A Disparate Vintage

On Tigerwine's latest, 'Nothing is for You,' vocalist and lyricist Trobee departs from the band's last effort as a concept record to write about an array subjects. Notably, Trobee tackles his evolution from rigid belief system to an acceptance and understanding of other ideas: "Through touring and becoming close with those very people I was taught to be afraid of, I realized how untrue it all is."

HM Magazine Turns 35

In 1985, Doug Van Pelt photocopied a letter-sized sheets of paper, bound them together, and handed them out in person on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. It's all digital now, but, along the way, Van Pelt stirred up quite a few waves, played some seriously heavy music, and made a few friends along the way. Here: A quick look back at the magazine's 35-year history with Van Pelt and new owner, David Stagg.

My Epic performing their last final show before COVID-19

Between the White Noise

My Epic's last full-length album came out in 2013; despite a number of EPs along the way, the band's dedication to their craft, lyrical approach, and unyielding approach to let the music come naturally has made them critical darlings. Now, they're learning to interact and feed a rabid fanbase in between albums and in a new normal.
