AUGUST BURNS RED are excited to premiere the new video for standout track ‘Internal Cannon’ today exclusively on their website.
The video comes a month after the band’s latest album, Leveler, debuted at an impressive #11 on the Billboard 200 in addition to entering the charts as the #1 Hard Rock album and #2 Rock album. Further adding to the notable debut, Leveler has also displayed staying power, with the album having sold 45,000 copies in 4 weeks.

“We shot the ‘Internal Cannon’ video in the middle of nowhere in New Jersey at an old water pumping station,” explains guitarist JB Brubaker. “The video was shot four stories underground at the base of a massive antique water pumping apparatus. There was no way to get down except for a rickety narrow spiral staircase which made loading the equipment very tricky. It was easily the sketchiest load in of our lives. The floor was dirt/mud and I played in bare feet to help portray the grittiness of the location. Unfortunately, I’m not sure there is a single clip in the video where you can see my bare feet.”

The band is currently in the midst of crisscrossing North America as part of a summer long stint as a mainstage act on the vaunted Vans Warped Tour, where they remain as one of the top draws amongst the tour’s many noteworthy acts.

Leveler represents AUGUST BURNS RED’s fastest selling album by a significant margin, adding commercial success to the critical praise which the album has garnered from the likes of Alternative Press, Revolver, Rock Sound and more, in addition to high marks from dozens of other outlets. The result is an album that pushes the band’s sonic boundaries in every direction, yet emerges as an unquestionably heavier album than its predecessor. It’s a game-changer, for ABR, and for fans of hard rock everywhere.
