Grammatrain to film new video

GRAMMATRAIN is back.
Recently, Grammatrain released a single called “The Last Sound”, a song which has not only achieved viral success but has been adopted as an anthem by Major League Soccer team the Seattle Sounders, receiving regular airplay at Qwest Field stadium before all the team’s home games this season.

Shortly after the single’s debut, Drew Carey (one of the Sounders owners) announced via Twitter that he loved the song and was going to make sure Grammatrain had a “proper video” for it.

This Thursday, May 20th, Drew’s making good on his promise. A-list producer/director Nik Venet (U2, The White Stripes, Jane’s Addiction, Wolfmother) is filming the music video in Seattle’s Gasworks Park in front of a crowd of both Grammatrain and Sounders fans. Local TV, radio and news stations, as well as the Sounders organization, have all contributed to the promotion of the video shoot, and the crowd at the park, which will be closed during the filming, is expected to be very large.

Grammatrain is currently working on finishing their first studio album in over a decade and expect to release it, along with a DVD of last year’s reunion show in Seattle, this Fall.
