Australian natives Mirrors have unveiled a haunting and biting new music video for their latest single, “Leave Them Behind.” The new track ushers in a further departure from the band’s metalcore roots and moves toward a heavy alternative sound, while retaining the atmosphere, density, and all-encompassing rhythm that has come to define Mirrors.
Vocalist Patrick Goodman has this to say about the band’s second single:
“‘Leave Them Behind’ portrays the constant fight of moving away from the parts of yourself that you don’t want to be through setting positive goals instead of dwelling on anxiety and uncertainty. Everyone runs away from something, so run away from the worst in you.”
