Northern California post-hardcore outfit Down Again recently announced a September 3 release date for their new EP, Bury The Bones. The band also unveiled a music video for their latest single, “Predisposed.”
Shot by Tyler Dugoni from Visual-Hype Productions, “Predisposed” begins with an unassuming melody and climbs to a forceful end both sonically and visually, leaving a hunger that can only be satisfied by the band’s unreleased music.
In an interview with Idioteq, the band shared more about the new track:
“‘Predisposed’ is one of our favorite songs we’ve written, between the bass line, the punch of the chorus, and the breakdown at the end it’s a lot of fun to play. It’s a song about self-loathing and the feeling of never getting better, so the lyrics are pretty heavy so we wanted to match that tone musically.”
Bury the Bones is the follow-up to Down Again’s 2020 debut, The Devil Is A Gentleman, and will be available for pre-order soon.
