WHO: Times of Grace
WHAT: Full Album Stream of The Hymn of a Broken Man courtesy of ARTISTdirect.com
WHEN: Friday, January 14th, 2011 at 4 PM ET through Monday, January 17th.
WHY: Jesse Leach (original KsE singer) and Adam D. (original and current KsE member, guitars now, drums then!) have reteamed for Times of Grace, which is not a retread of their now-classic last effort together, 2002’s crucial Alive or Just Breathing.
Times of Grace’s The Hymn of a Broken Man hits retail on January 18th. They will kick off their first tour in February and plan to remain active and in your face through 2011. This is not a side project; this is not KsE, Version 3.0. It’s like Corey Taylor with Slipknot and Stone Sour. When the ‘Knot goes into hibernation, CT rocks his face off in Stone Sour. Same goes for Adam D. with KsE and TOG.
This is Jesse Leach and Adam D. playing off one another’s strengths, crafting molten metal with soulful, contemplative lyrics. The album is already on my Top 10 of 2011 and it’s only January, but hey, I’m close to the record, so don’t take my word for it! Get in touch for more info, music, interview opportunities.
