For more than 13 years Syntax Records has enlisted Hip Hop as a platform to reach a culture in need and Lord-willing, we will do it for another 13.
With that said, we would like to share with you an exciting upcoming opportunity. Our good friend Maxim the director of Youth Ministry for Youth For Christ in St. Petersburg, Russia has once again requested for us to utilize our gifts, talents, and passion as tool to engage people in the presentation of the Gospel. Maxim has shared that Hip Hop has become the language of the Russian Youth, and we were not surprised to hear this since CNN and other credible news outlets have been reporting Hip Hop as “Global Culture” since 2001. This is our second trip, and we have chosen to send three people. We plan to return on an annual basis.
In addition to serving Youth For Christ, we will also be serving Youth With A Mission and The Salvation Army while in Russia. Because of our experience with festivals, events, and conferences we are also excited to be assisting with the Prishestvie Festival which is the largest Christian Music festival in all of Russia. Prishestvie also serves as an excellent outreach platform for us to invite those whom we come into contact with while out there.
We are in great need of your prayer. Please begin praying for us now and throughout the dates of our trip. Our trip will be from November 15th through 23th 2010, and we will be leaving from San Diego, CA.
We have estimated this trip to cost around $1700 per person. We understand times are hard for everyone right now, and are fully prepared to cover this trip on our own. However if you feel led to support our mision then we created a simple and fun way to do so.

Once you put in your e-mail and share to FaceBook and Twitter it will give you the option to ‘tip’. This is how you can support us. The good news is that you do not have to support us to get the free download. For every 10$ raised we will match it with a high quality commercially released CD for Maxim to give away in Russia while we are there as well as long after we are gone.
So… instead of giving us money for a plane ticket and food which would be boring, you are buying CD’s for your Russian brethren that you haven’t quite met! For the sake of clarity, we are NOT getting paid to travel or perform, and will not be selling merchandise while we are there.
