No Shelter

Messengers

Messengers brings gives us a good time with fast-paced “circle pit” rhythms, and heavy, headbanging guitars that would please even the most violet-bandana-wearing hardcore mosher. No Shelter is a short, three-track record that packs a punch. One of the record’s downfalls is that all songs contain the same musical structure. Though that may be so, Messengers has accomplished the rare act of making the music sound exciting. This spirit-filled straight-edge group from Dallas, TX, puts themselves on the death metal-tinged side; however, No Shelter echoes more hardcore elements. The tracks are simple, yet exciting, with hints of the classic Tipping the Scales by N.I.V. Definitely recommended.
