The bummer thing about having a band with the name “Lust Control” in the age of the internet, is the youtube recommendations after watching the video will recommend all kinds of lusty-themed videos (or at least titles like that). And then we had to be so cheeky to start the “Get Married” video with a color slate and the text/headline “Sex Instructional Video” on it … and that butt-grabbing into. Oh boy!
I guess I should say, “Be careful!” But if you made it past the video for “The Big M,” this is mild stuff.
And then there’s the video for the song “Pray For The City.” I love the homemade signs that Butch holds on the street corner of Congress and 11th Street. One says: “Will Work For Eternal Life.” Another says: “Will Lick Your Big Toe For Food.” Another says: “I Just Want Money.” And still another says: “Spiritual War Veteran.” I still get a chuckle out of those…
