Trailblazing band disbanding after remarkable 15-year run

New collection Anthology 1999-2013 out November 6 on Solid State Records, featuring two brand new songs

One week after shocking the music world by announcing their plans to disband after a remarkable 15-year career, groundbreaking metalcore act UNDERØATH are revealing details of their forthcoming Farewell Tour – one that will allow the band to connect with their legion of fans one last time.

Last week’s announcement sent shockwaves through social media networks, with UNDERØATH becoming a worldwide trending topic on Twitter as countless fans shared their thoughts on the influential band and the impact its music had on their lives.
Those fans can connect with and celebrate the band one final time on the forthcoming Farewell Tour, set to hit nine North American cities starting January 16th. Helping to send
UNDERØATH off will be their close friends in MEWITHOUTYOU, AS CITIES BURN and LETLIVE.

“We’re viewing this time as a celebration of the past decade or so as well as a last chance to see and hang out with fans, as well as our friends on the tour,” said keyboardist Chris Dudley. “It’s the end of an era and we’ll be going out on a high note!”

Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available tomorrow, October 10th at noon local time and will include a limited edition 7” featuring two brand-new songs, as well as a limited edition tour poster. Regular tickets will go on sale to the public this Friday and Saturday, October 12 and 13. While UNDERØATH would love to extend their farewell to more areas of the U.S. and more countries around the world, due to growing family and life commitments these will be the only shows on the tour, so fans should make sure to get there!

UNDERØATH will also cap its incredible run with the release of a career retrospective album, Anthology 1999-2013 – available November 6 on Solid State Records. In addition to tracks that span the band’s career, Anthology 1999-2013 also includes the aforementioned brand-new tracks, “Sunburnt” and “Unsound,”  recorded with longtime producer Matt Goldman.
