Unchained: The Untold Story of Freestyle Motocross<\/em> presented by Monster Energy<\/em> is a feature-length documentary film that chronicles the birth and rise of freestyle motocross \u2013 from the deserts of Southern California to the world-wide television stage of ESPN\u2019s X Games.\u00a0 Narrated and co-executive produced by Josh Brolin and from Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Paul Taublieb comes an in-depth, heart-stopping look at the intense, high-stakes world of freestyle motocross.\u00a0 The film focuses on the lives and careers of iconic freestyle motocross legends: Brian Deegan, Travis Pastrana, Mike Metzger, Seth Enslow and Carey Hart.<\/p>\n

See those names? Memorize them (if you haven’t already). These dudes are amazing. Pray for their safety, because what they do is impossible! Doing this stuff is a rush, but watching it is a thrill in itself. I am so looking forward to the X-Games this year. I am so bummed that they are leaving Austin after this third year of a 3-year contract to have it here.<\/p>\n

So, the X-Games and Monster people pulled into Austin (at the rad Alamo Drafthouse … a great venue to watch movies and eat, which has caught on and spread across the nation now). They premiered the movie and had a little shindig. Here are some photos of what went down.<\/p>\n
