Live at the Whiskey<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Stryper is world-class. They still have the chops. Granted, Michael Sweet can\u2019t hit all those high notes anymore, but he can hit a lot higher than most singers and who wants him to hit some of those silly, self-gratifying and operatic vocal gymnastic notes anyway? Not me! The band is still smoking hot in the guitar department, with not even visual timekeeper and glam rock punching bag Robert Sweet is a slouch in the musician department. Robert, Tim, Oz and Michael are all tight, talented and on. This show is not breathtaking in its delivery, but these old guys are playing like young guys with something to prove.<\/p>\n

The DVD is the same show. The visuals are not over-the-top (i.e. expensive production), but you are right there as the viewer, seeing what you need to see as if you were up close and personal.<\/p>\n

Nothing to complain about here. Sure, it could\u2019ve been longer. They could\u2019ve played this tune or that, but the song selection is tight, spans their career and sounds really good.<\/p>\n
