Blood Soaked Splinter

Review by

South Africa’s Forfeit Thee Untrue is an amalgamated construct consisting of late ’90s hardcore, a bit of attention deficit disorder, and some serious Demon Hunter worship, with a few odds and ends thrown in just because they can. By the end of the first listen, I really started to enjoy the EP. The production is good, yet still on the raw side. Any fan of the metalcore genre will enjoy this; it’s solidly done and interesting to listen to. Don’t judge this album by its cover; there is more here than you may expect.
