UPDATED (12/12):

We found out last night that director/producer Daniel Davison (who has done videos this year for August Burns Red and Norma Jean) did this brutal video for For Today.

Davison talked exclusively to HM bout working with the band on this video and the challenges he and the band faced:

I had a great time working with For Today on the video for “Fight the Silence.” It was my first time directing a video for them. We just happened to shoot the video on the (then) coldest day of the year in Philadelphia (laughs).

It was a bit of a challenge to tell the simple, yet brutal, true stories of several human trafficking victims … and not have it be cheesy or not fit the vibe of the music.  In the end, I think it came together, and I am happy with how it turned out. I feel the concept has the energy it needs, yet still gets the message across. I really respect the guys in the band for using their music as a means to raise awareness for this horrible crime.

Having released the single earlier, today, For Today releases the official video for “Fight the Silence,” the titular track from their upcoming album. Enjoy!
