Pillar successfully completes crowdfunding, to record new album

News 28 Jan 14 By

Great news for all your Pillar fans (and long-time HM fans) as Pillar’s crowdfunding effort to raise $50,000 was successful. They are using the money to reunite and record their seventh full-length album, aiming for a fall release date. The band was formed over 15 years ago in Hays, KS, and have toured the country a number of times, peaking in the late ’90s and early 2000s.

From Kalel:

HM Magazine has been there for Pillar since the earliest days when we were on your sampler CDs back in 1999; those sampler CDs were our first national exposure. We want to thank all our fans worldwide and HM Magazine for walking alongside us in this next chapter of Pillar. This new album was funded by the fans and will be for the fans.
