Even though the band had been considered dead, Haste the Day was able to raise more than twice their goal for what would become the band’s sixth studio album, Coward. The album will be released on May 19 through their longtime label, Solid State.

Both of Haste the Day’s vocalists — Jimmy Ryan (2002-2005) and Stephen Keech (2006-2011) — are featured on the album, even sharing vocals on a track called “Gnaw.”

In addition, the band has announced four new shows but with the dates not disclosed. Cities, however, they did say:

  • New York
  • Pomona
  • Denver
  • Indianapolis

Both of the band’s vocalists will perform at the shows, and each show will contain their most popular material from past albums mixed in with new music from Coward.
