The Great Transparency join battle against extreme poverty

The Great Transparency have joined the fight to end poverty one child at a time

Christian Rock band – The Great Transparency (Razzbarry Records) is helping end extreme poverty by partnering with Mission of Mercy.

Through their child sponsorship program, for less than the cost of a daily cup of coffee is all it takes to equip children in developing nations to reach their God-given potential, by creating opportunities for spiritual, physical, social, mental and emotional development.

“We believe that solving the problems of chronic poverty and underdevelopment in the world are major long-term keys to peace and safety in our world and with a deep belief that God loves every human being,” says TGT. front man Jeremiah Wagner.

According to Mission of Mercy every day millions of children struggle to survive in the midst of extremely difficult circumstances.

* 100 million are abandoned and survive on streets of large cities

* 31 million are orphans whose parents were victims of armed conflict

* 11 million have lost one or both parents to AIDS

* 9 million will die this year from disease, mostly of preventable causes

You can’t help them all, but you can give the gift of a brighter future to one child in need!

When you sponsor a child, you provide:

* educational opportunities
* health screening and medical attention
* nutritional supplements and food
* social development

And most important, your sponsored child will have the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus and grow into a caring Christian adult.

“How could we not be involved?” says Wagner
